Up for bid we have a FANTASTIC 12" Acetate Record Dating To the Mid 1950's.  It is a two sided recording made by radio disc jockey pioneer Don Keyes to possibly his parents?  On side one he mentions that he is "Goofing off at the record station" making the record.  He starts by discussing his pregnant wife and a refurbished refrigerator, as well as the fact that the prior news guy just got fired so he is working long hours.  Don talks about the Don Key's "Caper" Radio Show with his opening song: Ralph Marteri on Trumpet, Lights Out and gives a run down of how his radio show was going to work.   Don talks about Al "Jazzbo" Collins and how he wrote some ads for Preston Record Center which he reads in a "Jazzbo" tone.  Additionally he talks about meeting Al Bennett From Dot Records who was interested in those very Ad's that he wrote and wanted to put them on a record.  Truly a fantastic, personal account of a top 40 radio pioneers early days.
