Description

Up for sale is an original 1963 Mike Sarne UK export issue "Just Like Eddie" c/w "Slow Twistin' Round the Totem Pole".  The record comes in a period Parlophone company sleeve.

I am a former record collector in the process of liquidating the bulk of the collection.

Label: PARLOPHONE ("The Parlophone Co. Ltd..." outer label print without "Sold in UK..." text on round centre)

Catalogue number: DP 558 (export issue)

Side 1: Just Like Eddie

Side 1 matrix number: 7XCE 17440-1N

Side 2: Slow Twistin' Round the Totem Pole

Side 2 matrix number: 7XCE 17441-1N

Record condition:

Label: crisp and clean on both sides with a plastic numbered "DYMO" label on the A-side.  B-side shows some light spindle marks.  No other marks or handwriting on either side. 

Vinyl: VG condition as per Rare Record Price Guide "The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality." Retains a brilliant shine overall as seen in photos and has 2 superficial surface marks on the A-side and 1 on the B-side, however these do not affect playback in any way.

Sleeve: period Parlophone company sleeve in EX condition.  Has a number '12' written in blue ink at top on both sides (refer to photos).

Sound quality: flawless sound reproduction - sounds as if it has been played very little since 1963 - with only minimal surface noise in run-in and run-off audible at high volume, refer to video link.    Note that the record being played is the actual one for sale in this listing and was recorded by myself.  This record was tested on a Sansui SR-2050C turntable.
