Description
MILES DAVIS - "Birth Of The Cool" UK Mono LP Vinyl Record Album.
Original 1957 LP on the Capitol Records label. Catalogue number: T 762.
The VINYL record is in near MINT condition, with only one very short hairline surface scuff visible, which has no affect on play. The Capitol "rainbow rim" labels are in great shape (see photos).
The Garrod & Lofthouse, triple flipback SLEEVE is in near Mint/Excellent + condition with a small scuff on the lower reverse (see photo) and minimal age discolouration.
Not often seen on eBay, or anywhere else for that matter, especially not in this condition. This copy of his rare classic album is getting on for 60 years old and still looks almost "as new", and certainly plays that way. A real collectors item. Don't miss it!

GRADING
I have been grading records for sale, both on and off Ebay, for over 15 years and use the Record Collector Magazine Grading System. In some instances a plus (+) or minus (-) may be added where it is felt the grading falls just above or below the RCMGG rating.
Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

For international shipping on a total package value over £20.00 a "signed for" service is required (to protect both buyer and seller) this will add £5.30 to the cost.
PACKAGING
I use purpose made, strong, cruciform corrugated mailers (Covers33 supplied) with stiffener(s) where necessary, and have years of experience in packing vinyl for mailing, so rest assured your LP(s) will have the best care for transit.
