Description
Original US 1969 Stereo 1st press copy of Miles Davis - Filles de Kilimanjaro. Released on the red Columbia 2 eye label - 360 Stereo Sound, no. CS 9750.
Degritter cleaned, the vinyl is in superb condition for the age - spotlessly clean, very glossy with no real marks apart from one tiny scuff on Side 2 track 1. The labels and spindle holes are immaculate - graded EX but very close to NM.
Playtest was a joy! Deep, intense and powerful with a wide soundstage and wonderful stereo separation. Needless to say there are no playback issues - it plays through beautifully.
The rigid cardboard sleeve is sturdy & robust with light shelfwear & corner rubbing. Some creasing/ light flaking to the spine but still readable. Ringwear plus a small patch of browning to the rear (See photos). No writing, splits, tape or tears.
The original printed Columbia inner sleeve promoting the albums of the day is present. We have decanted the record into a new poly lined inner sleeve to preserve it.
A wonderful copy of an iconic album, fully cleaned and tested, ready to play and enjoy for years to come.
The record will be sent separated out in an archival outer sleeve to prevent transit splits.
