Description
A seldom seen original 1987 French pressing of CBS LP 450472 - ISLE OF WIGHT by MILES DAVIS. Pay close attention because this uniquely French LP combines one side of "Call It Anything" from MD's 1970 Isle Of Wight concert (with Chick Corea, Gary Bartz, Keith Jarrett, Dave Holland, Jack DeJohnette and Airto) with several rare NON-LP titles that were issued in the U.S. ONLY as 45 rpm singles in the early 1970's : "The Little Blue Frog", "Big Fun", "Great Expectations", "Holly-wuud" & "Molester" Parts 1 & 2. A terrific and unusual compilation. Disc is in the highest reaches of VG+++ condition (many would grade it higher), seldom played and well cared for - no visible or audible defects. Cover shows very minor storage wear but is fully intact with no split seams.
