HENRY MILLER READING FROM TROPIC OF CAPRICORN

Recorded August 15, 1946
Circle Edition APS 1196/1197 (1 2s 12" electrical shellac 78 rpm) 
E/E+.  Side 1 has a long, narrow, silent scuff.  S. 2 has a lightly discolored 2" half-circle area on the record's edge, probably from this section having been at the previous stoarge sleeve cut-out, also not affecting the sound.  It plays through with a few light tics and pops when I use a 78 needle and the mono setting on my preamp.  The pop at the end of side 2 idoes not show under inspection and is probably in the master, The label has small, light pencilled note on one side that I can't decipher.  See scans
