Rare Henry Miller 'Reading from Tropic of Capricorn' 78
AUCTION DETAILS
Up for auction is an original recording of Henry Miller reading from his masterpiece, 'Tropic of Capricorn.' The record is a Circle Edition 78 of Henry Miller reading from his classic novel 'Tropic of Capricorn,' edited by George Leite and issued in 1946. Two parts, Pt. One on Side A and Pt. Two on Side B. Miller reads from an excerpt entitled "I am a Wild Park", Miller gives a brief introduction before launching into the section.
We are selling this book for a client who obtained it from the Charles Brockman collection in Athens, GA. We are starting the auction at $50.00 in order to insure its sale but this record is listed for $650.00 on Abebooks.com! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
Product Description: Very good condition for its age, very little signs of use on the 78 itself. It is still protected by its original sleeve and it should play very well.
