This double Lp was released on the 19th of November 1977...To get as much of the Christmas market as possible! It didn't fair too well as there weren't any new songs on the album and so it only reached number 7 in the charts on December the 17th of the same year.

"HARRY" etched into run-off grooves for sides 1 and 3.

This is Harry T Moss-who is generally respected as THE master cutter of the later Beatles Lps, producing superior sound.

AUDIBLE GRADING: NEAR MINT

After playing her through on side 1-I was blown away with the SILENCE of the run-ins and run-outs...I had to look up after the music had stopped to see if it was in the run-out groove-it was that silent!

A simple JOY TO LISTEN TO.

There are just a few fingerprints (mine) and some small superficial spots of blooming-which could easily be buffed out.

DEEP and rich BASS throughout.

I have seen quite a few of these covers, and this one is one of the best I have seen.

She carrys some very light and negligible rubbing to the corners, with just a couple of very small fingers of spidering eminating from the spine.

UNCRUSHED & LEGIBLE SPINE

The inside picture is lovely and clean -with just faint evidence of where these records have been stored for the last 48 years.

NO splits or writing.

Certainly done their job in keeping the records in tip-top condition.

One is a little wrinkled and the other has a tiny amount of age discolouration-but don't we all?!
