The Beatles Abbey Road Lp Uk 1st Press No Her Majesty [Ex-/Vg+] GREAT

Description

An original 1st Uk press of AR from '69. Matrix 2/1. No Her Majesty on the labels indicating absolute 1st press. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original laminated cover with ALIGNED apple logo....1st pressing..nice condition. Near master heavy EMI pressing. Q-Q-Q-uality.
Vinyl (Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Labels imply relatively little use. Under close inspection I could only make out a few slight marks per side nothing troublesome and a couple of finer ones - nothing significant or problematic.. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an at least NearExcellent level of playback with minor deviation in a couple of spots per side. A great player that plays clean and better preserved than the average copy that surfaces. All I could detect was a bit of background presence briefly in two of the quieter tracks per side ....  Nothing upfront at all, or remotely worrisome. It is superb for 80%+ of the recording. Highly recommended. Bit of a knock pn the green label ..but i can blend this in...and those white dots are easy to hide.
Cover (Vg+) Nice solid cover with good colour retention.. Slight edge wear in the odd place. The spine is fully intact..but a few stress creases.. Overall the cover is still rigid.
