Description
A nice pressing of the "I Do Not Play Rock 'N' Roll" album by Mississippi Fred McDowell on Capitol Records (SM-409). The label information on the back cover reads: "Manufactured by Capitol Records, Inc., A Subsidiary of Capitol Industries-EMI, Inc., Hollywood and Vine Streets, Hollywood, California."
The yellow and red labels read: "Capitol." The hand-etched matrix reads "SM-1-409-G-5" on side 1 and "2-409-F-5" on side 2.
The front cover is very clean and glossy with slight ring wear/impression. The corners are all dinged a bit. Near the top left corner there is a small "C407" written in black pen. The back cover has some very slight ring wear. In the top right corner there is a small square-ish discoloration (looks like a label was removed).
The vinyl is VG+ (9 out of 10, vinyl looks great aside from some specs of dust). This LP comes from a non-smoking home. The record you see in the picture is the record you will receive.
Shipping will be $4.00 for media mail in the U.S. I ship internationally -- but prefer that international bidders contact me first. I usually ship within 24 hours of receiving payment. I will combine shipping if you win multiple items. Also, I tend to recycle boxes, but I always make sure to pack items, particularly records, securely.
