MISSISSIPPI RIVER BLUES Library of Congress field recordings Volume One FLYRIGHT-MATCHBOX RECORDS LP SDM 230!
Original UK LP with the original die-cut Paper inner sleeve.
Released in 1973, on the FLYRIGHT-MATCHBOX RECORDS Label.
Catalogue number: SDM 230 (Mono/Stereo?).
Matrix Numbers Read:
A-side: SDM 230 A1 (etched)
B-side: SDM 230 B1 (etched)
Sleeve/Record: EXCELLENT/NEAR MINT CONDITION
Clean sleeve in EXCELLENT condition, displays light sleeve wear only noting major. Some slight shelf wear on the back sleeve and small light pen mark about two thirds of the way down the middle column of back sleeve notes. All spine print is clear and intact. There are no rips/tears, no edge wear, no seem splits and no sleeve creases. Original inner protective paper sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition, no visible damage, but some browning with age.
Record labels are in MINT condition, clean with no visible spindle hole marks showing. Playing surfaces and matrix areas display the full original glossy sheen and are in NEAR MINT condition, there are a few (almost negligible) tiny ultra-light fine line surface scuffs which only show up when closely viewed and angled under a strong bright light.
Record comes from a Blues collection, all of these LPs have been very well preserved and are in exceptional condition.
