Description
Hi! You're looking at a SUPERB and virtually FLAWLESS condition LP Set which is VERY RARE and hard to find and a fantastic AUDIOPHILE recording on the MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LAB (MFSL, or MoFi) label, which produced some of the finest-sounding vinyl ever pressed in the late 1970s and 1980s--the record is HALF-SPEED MASTERED and specially plated and pressed on High Definition Super Vinyl by the Victor Company of Japan, Ltd, is housed in a special static free, dust free inner sleeve, mastered from the ORIGINAL Stereo Master Tapes, and released in a LIMITED EDITION run--this record has never sounded, and will never again sound, this good! This LP is in SUPERB and virtually FLAWLESS condition, and the vinyl is in virtually PERFECT shape and appears to be UNPLAYED; the cover is in strong NEAR MINT condition with just very slight shelfwear, and all the inserts are included and are in beautiful shape. The LP is on the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab label, was issued in the early 1980s and bears the serial number MFSL 1-502 (100C-2). The record features a brilliant and dynamic performance of three compositions by PETER TCHAIKOVSKY: "The 1812 Overture", "Romeo and Juliet", and "Marche Slave". The performances are by conductor ANDRE PREVIN, who leads the London Symphony Orchestra.
A fantastic find, and a beautiful copy of this record!
Thanks for looking, and good luck if you're bidding! Also be sure to check out my other vintage classical vinyl currently listed on ebay auctions--I can ship multiple purchases for just $1.00 per single LP in the US (not including box sets or multiple LP sets), or can combine by weight for overseas bid wins!
International Bidders Please Note: As of January 28, 2013, rates for overseas shipping have increased, in some cases very dramatically--I'll continue to offer shipping rates that are as reasonable as possible, but it will be necessary to adjust shipping to account for this increase. Please ask if you have any questions about shipping rates--thanks!
