Description
This is it: an International Artists 1967 press IA-LP-1 mono version of "The Psychedelic Sounds of the 13th Floor Elevators". The deadwax on side 1 is IA-5001 SIDE-1 S-1264 and the deadwax on Side 2 is I-A 5002 Re S-1265 Re. The jacket is fair to poor: prior water damage as shown in the photos. The vinyl would visually grade as fair due to scratches and a slight edge warp, but on my turntable with a mono switch, it sounds good - no skips once it gets started, but scattered ticks throughout. This original mono mix from the master tape has not been released on any format since 1966 and this sounds much more powerful than the freaky stereo mix, in my opinion. Original inner is in the jacket, but the LP is packaged in a rice paper inner sleeve. Shipped insured within the US.
