Description

MONO Pet Sounds THE BEACH BOYS 1966 1st U.S. pressing on Capitol Records T-2458 pressed at The Scranton Pennsalvania pressing plant as indicated by the "I AM" logo stamped in the runouts, and the number "3" printed on the back cover.
Original 1st pressing with Capitol rainbow labels, fully play tested to determine sound quality.

VINYL in G+ with several light hairlines/paper scuffs. Play tested G+ with very nice strong sound, crackle throughout, but it is fortunately in the background and I didn't notice loud clicks or pops. Very enjoyable listen and the crackle does not overpower the music.
COVER in G+ with corner cutout (see photos), light ring wear, corner bumps, slash on upper right hand corner of front cover (looks like someone cut something out on the record cover), chipping on spine with paper loss on bottom near corner, and on top with album title. Top seam solid with chipping starting, bottom seam intact with 2" area near opening with chipping.

Notes

Pressing and label variation. Black Capitol labels with rainbow color band, oval Capitol logo centered at top of labels, track listing under the center hole on labels, and smaller 1.5 inch diameter pressing ring. Pressed by Capitol Records Pressing Plant, Scranton per machine stamped triangle with the initials 'IAM' in runouts.
