The Beatles - Rubber Soul
Catalog # PMC 1267
Parlophone—1965
Mono LP, 12” disc with laminated (front only) cardboard cover and flipback edges
Discs are -1 / -1 matrices in the dead wax, the so-called first pressing “Loud Cut”
Play Test:
Looped skip during end of “Michelle” (Last 5 seconds of Side A)
Hiss at the beginning of Side B
Skips during beginning of “What Goes On” (First 30 seconds of Side B)
Surface noise and plenty of pops during play, most notably at the beginning of Side B
Condition:
I am new to grading vinyl, but I am using Discogs grading standards to help.
Disc is in the “Fair” range because of the skips. There are scratches on the disc and the beginning of Side B has groove wear. Name written in the label area on both sides.
Sleeve condition is in “Good” shape with plenty of creases, foxing on the back cover and a small seam split in the middle of the bottom edge where the disc had worn through. Replacement inner sleeve keeps that seam split from being an issue. Cover completely intact, with all flipbacks still strongly attached. Name written on the back cover.
Shipping within 48 hours via USPS Priority Mail. Item will be packaged for protection. Combined shipping available, when applicable.
