Original UK Rubber Soul with rare labels. I have never see this before maybe 1 of a kind. The record is near mint. Still holding its original like new sheen. It has only the tiniest of hairline marks that would take a strong magnifying glass to find. There is a slight mark on side 1 but honestly the record is nearly new condition. The labels are the obscurity. Notice the photos. Side 1 is written in a completely different font to Side 2. What we have here is a mispress that looks like 2 different labels were used. Almost like EMI ran out of 1st press labels for side 2 and then stuck 2nd press labels on. You can see by the photos that you are really looking at 2 different records, the labels should not be on the same record. That said they also are in nearly new state. XEX 579-4. Stamps 15 RHO XEX 580-4. Stamps 412 CRA KT tax code. Hardly any spindle wear. Labels are clean. The sleeve is in very good condition with only a slight crease on the opening. On the reverse it is fantastic showing hardly any stainage. The only thing that mars the cover is a sticker removal mark on the left top corner. Spine is readable and is pinched at both ends. Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve. Parlophone on right corner with Gramophone co. Ltd (see photos) Comes also with original Emitex inner which is smoke and stain free I personally in all my years of collecting Beatles albums have seen same side labels on records and completely different records with different labels. I have a Matt Monro EP that plays Beatles No.1 EP so there are cock ups in the factory, but this is truly something I have never seen.
