On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Monument called 'The First Monument' and is a 1971 Stereo UK 1st pressing!!!! THIS LP IS ONE OF THE RAREST LPs ON THE RARE BEACON LABEL!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE RECORD PLAYS SUPERBLY!!!! DONT MISS OUT ON THIS RARE LP!!!! This is an ORIGINAL UK 1st pressing from 1971 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is BEAS 15 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Beacon Label (see picture) and is a UK 1971 Stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Monument at their best!!!! Any fan of Monument, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in brilliant condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only a few light NON sounding hairlines (visible under light), and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays even BETTER than the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and NO crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade visually Very Good+ if not better - and the playing grade is more like Excellent(Minus) if not better!!!! THIS RECORD REALLY DOES PLAY SUPERBLY!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!! The Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO ringwear, only a few light creases, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO writing, only very VERY minimal grubbyness (barely ANY), and NO yellowing!!!! The only defect on the cover is a couple of patches of wear on the top right of the cover (most likely from sticker removal) though this doesnt detract from the cover that much - and has been quite well 'touched in' sometime in the covers past. This Cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better - and without the patch of wear mentioned before this cover would have a MUCH higher grading!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY RARE AND VERY HARD TO FIND!!!! DONT MISS OUT!!!!
