MORGAN - "Nova Solis" LP, on the RCA label, SF 8321, from 1973. This is a original UK pressing of a rare progressive psych rock album. The cover is in EX+ condition. The disc is in EX+ condition as well.

This superb 1972 album was recorded by the little known UK progressive rock band MORGAN, the group featured former members of The Love Affair and Mott the Hoople, the line-up also included vocalist Tim Staffel who played in the pre-Queen group SMILE with Brian May & Roger Taylor, this MORGAN album actually contains a brilliant spacey version of the Smile track 'Earth'. Some say that Tim Staffel's powerful tenor voice resembles that of Freddie Mercury and when listening to his excellent vocals on this album you can hear for yourself why. "Nova Solis" is, in true progressive rock style, a concept album, but with none of the pompousness associated with the genre, the album is a mixture of beautiful acoustic tunes with aggressive synths over a powerful rhythm section, it shows power and versatility from beginning to end and will definitely not disappoint the fan of progressive rock music.
