Description

This is a rare 1st press vinyl LP from Mott The Hoople - Brain Capers, issued on Island Records in 1971, Cat No: ILPS-9178, this comes with the printed aeroplane inner sleeve and eye patch/mask which is unused.  The matrix numbers are: ILPS 9178 A-1U/B-1U, this also has "Porky" & "Pecko" etched in the dead wax/run out grooves, the sleeve is printed by Howard Printers (Slough).  This also have pinched ends along the reading spine.

CONDITION - IMPORTANT PLEASE READ & LOOK AT PHOTOS BEFORE BIDDING!

When held up to a light Side 1 has a feint thick hairline scuff mark across track 1 and a couple of tiny sleeve marks other wise it looks hardly played. Side 2 when held up to a light show just a few very tiny sleeve marks only. The sleeve is in great condition, no side/seam splits and a fully readable spine, there is some very light ring wear, inner sleeve has a small seam split along the bottom.
