This Lp was released on the 10th July 1964. The 45rpm was released in April and at that time the Beatles' film had yet to get a title and as the story goes, Ringo emerged from a long days work saying "It's been a hard day," then seeing it was already dark added " 's night." This was then announced to the press as the title on the 17th of April. Ringo may have seen this phrase before in Lennons book "Sad Michael."
Holding a number 1 postition for a huge 21 weeks, from July the 25th!!!
This is also the ONLY Beatles album to have every track written by Lennon/McCartney.

QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT 170g!!
VG. Lovely heavy vinyl with a gorgeous sheen.
I see light marks, but found the sound reproduction remaining solid throughout.
NO SKIPS OR JUMPS ON MY TECHNICS SLBD20D DECK
I have just listened to the whole album and didn't find any less enjoyment in playback, occasional background noise-a gentle professional clean will improve her further.
Very nice indeed.

(This is an unusual tax code for this lp as the MT tax code was used from January 1963 only until the 1st of June 1963...a very short running indeed and as this record was released in November 1963 it is a very unusual label indeed!)

WOULD FRAME WELL
Cover: VG. Solid, small mono in top right corner. Shiny front cover...She does carry a couple of small crescents of spidering to the front laminted cover-near the opening, as well as some small fingers of spidering eminating from the seams and spine.
SOLID!!
Slightly discolored white card backing-as can be seen in the images provided.
NO WRITING
STRONG & SOLID CORNERS
The Garrod and Lofthouse flipbacks are in wonderfully strong condition.
STRONG, UNCRUSHED & LEGIBLE spine.
NO rips or tears!!
Has "Patents Pending" to back bottom right corner flipback.
Inner: VG-. It is a DECCA inner. It is poly-line, but the lining has come unstuck from the interior, but not all of it as it is still useable. Little pen parks to one side...However she has certainly done her job in looking after the lovely slab of vinyl!
