This Lp was released on the 10th July 1964. The 45rpm was released in April and at that time the Beatles' film had yet to get a title and as the story goes, Ringo emerged from a long days work saying "It's been a hard day," then seeing it was already dark added " 's night." This was then announced to the press as the title on the 17th of April. Ringo may have seen this phrase before in Lennons book "Sad Michael."
Holding a number 1 postition for a huge 21 weeks, from July the 25th!!!
This is also the ONLY Beatles album to have every track written by Lennon/McCartney.

VG! Lovely heavy vinyl with a gorgeous sheen.
I see light needle marks, but found the sound reproduction to be little affected by these!
I have just listened to the whole album and didn't find any less enjoyment in playback, occasional background noise in the quieter sections-The run ins and outs are lovely and quiet..
Just a gentle clean will improve her further.
Very nice indeed.

Cover: VG-. Solid, small-sized mono in top right corner. Shiny front cover...She does carry a few crescents of spidering to the front laminted cover, near the opening, as well as some small fingers of spidering eminating from the seams and spine.

The card backinghas some discolouration/light-as can be seen in the nothing bad at all.
NO WRITING
STRONG & SOLID CORNERS
The Garrod and Lofthouse flipbacks are in wonderfully strong condition.
STRONG, UNCRUSHED & LEGIBLE spine.
NO rips or tears!!
Has "Patents Pending" to back bottom right corner flipback.
Inner: EX. It is the correct period sepia EMI advertising inner with ads for Sgt Pepper and Pink Floyds 1st album...She has certainly done her job in looking after the lovely slab of vinyl!
