Description
- Boxed set of 5 x 12 inch, stereo, LPs. 33 1/3 rpm
- This collection was issued in 1975 on the 'Decca' label
- The set consists of the 6 Brandenburg Concertos, 4 Orchestral Suites and Harpsichord Concertos 1 & 2
- All of the works are performed by the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra conducted by Karl Munchinger with George Malcolm as the soloist on the two harpsichord concertos
- The original recording date from 1958 (producer James Walker) for the Brandenburgs, 1961 (producer Erik Smith) for the orchestral suites and 1963 (producer Roy Minshull) for the harpsichord concertos.

- There is a gatefold full-size insert with a picture of J.S. Bach on the front and full details and comprehensive notes on all the works
- Banded, purple Decca 'full frequency stereophonic sound' label, catalogue numbers 14BB.213 to 217
- Plain paper inner sleeves, with plastic linings
- Made in England

Condition
- The records are in excellent condition with no signs of warping and no apparent marks or scratches. The records appear to have to have been played little if at all (We have not been able to play the LPs so we cannot attest to playback quality).
- The box has some faint marks on the edges and inside the edge of the lid, but otherwise is in very good, virtually unused condition (see photos).
- The inner sleeves are in excellent condition with little sign of use (see photos)
- I would grade this set as 'Excellent' as per Record Collector's grading guide (see http://recordcollectormag.com/advertise/listings-help)
