MUSICA NELLO SPAZIO - ITALIAN LIBRARY Lp by GIANNI FALLABRINO production by ALFIERE. Original Italian pressing on the FONTANA label (6830 116), from 1972. Desirable and outstanding Library session. Our favourite recording by the maverick arranger. Beautiful, hallucinogenic mood music with a stoned experimental sound. A spaced-out psychedelic soundtrack mixing up mysterious jazz moods and melancholy lounge with bowed cello / strung-out fuzz distortions / flute / congas with dub echo FX a la Sorgini / modal jazz / vibes / gothic hammond / fractured piano riffs / double bass / fender bass / oriental bells and treated electric keyboards. Trippy, filmic cues for an unknown Italian soundtrack. Recorded just before the Roberto Nicolosi Atmosfera Library (aka L'Occhio Nel Labirinto / Eye In The Labyrinth giallo horror film score) also on the Fontana label. Many soundtrack and Library collectors have still never heard the Musica Nello Spazio session so we have recorded the bewitching and sleazy LABIRINTO / SOLLECITUDINE / FLASH / ORIZZONTI / TEMA PER ANNA / MAESTRALE and ESASPERAZIONE theme for our soundclip. Gino Marinacci is the flute player on here, for sure :) Rhythmically sublime and gently avantgarde music. Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is closer to shiny, M- condition overall with some hairlines. Light surface noises. Some faded stains to label. The laminated sleeve is in strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) with light wear. Some corner wear. Ring wear / creasing from storage. Archive number in tipex to top corner of back sleeve. Small 'x' notation beside tracklisting on back sleeve. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Very rare Library Lp!!!
