Description

Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.

This is an auction for: Mad River – Mad River S/T – RARE Original Capitol Vinyl LP album from 1968.

Original issue on Capitol records.

Very RARE indeed.

Vinyl Condition: G (Light marks and light scratches but plays great with no jumps or sticks. There are some more visible scratches but nothing major. There is a slight fuzz sound for a second at the start of side 1 but this is only for a second and is nothing major. There are a few light clicks towards the end of the first track on side 2. Nothing major. There is some light crackle in places but overall very nice playback. Good sound quality. There is spindle wear but overall not too bad. Overall record has been used over the years but still plays great and is an absolute pleasure to listen to).

Inner Sleeve Condition: VG (Plain white inner is a replacement).

Outer Sleeve Condition: G (Front laminated flipback sleeve has a water stain to the bottom right corner. Due to the dark colour of the sleeve you don’t really notice it. The back of the sleeve has an approx. 2cm tear/rip at the opening. There is laminate creasing and some corner and edge wear. No writing on the sleeve at all. Overall decent condition).

I grade my vinyl’s as follows:

M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.

Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.

VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.

If you would like further information on sleeve or record condition then please email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Please note: Due to the large amount of CD’s and records that I am selling, I don’t have time to include the track listings. If the track listing is important to you then please email me and I will send you the track list.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR POSTAGE ADDRESS IS UP TO DATE AND CORRECT BEFORE BIDDING.
