About This Record.  This is a cool wacked out original USA copy of Mad River's First LP on rainbow Capitol Records from 1968 or thereabouts, but with drill hole from deletion status.  Nice copy, simply incredible awesome psych guitar, but the operatic and at times country sounding vocals freak me out!  Give me Fred Cole and The Lollipop Shoppe any day!  But cult item, just a little too bizarre for me.  PLEASE see all my additional photos and details regarding condition of the cover and vinyl below.  The photos of the labels or cover list the songs and any possible details about the labels. See my other RARE Rockabilly for sale (and maybe some cool 1960s psych etc. LPs I am selling with NO Reserve!).

Cover Condition: VG+   Spine and seams are totally intact except for small 1/4" split at opening edge lower corner.  There is a deletion drill hole and just light ring wear (most have major ring wear) and small tear in the middle of the opening seam where the record slides in and out about 1/2 long but only on one side of the cover; see photo of label and look at 8 o'clock for small tear. Nice Copy as these things go! Vinyl Condition: EX-  Plays EX+ for most songs, but one song on side two has 5 or 6 soft, but repetitive clicks in a silent part but there are no major scratches or marks, it's a very quiet song.  Some background noise here and there as on all copies.

Inserts:  Comes with original original browning plain paper innersleeve with the drill hole in it that was punched in the cover, but of course it comes cleaned on my VPI Record Cleaning Machine and in a new innersleeve (so the old dust does not reattach!  OH my gosh!!.

Labels:  Near Mint/better (see photos of all labels)

Packaging.  I clean all vinyl on my V.P.I. Record Cleaning Machine and place it in a new innersleeve so the old dust does not reattach; but I also include the innersleeve that came with the LP if it is the original.  I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve after cleaning from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection.  I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least one insert stiffener, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and “Fragile” to help facilitate a safe passage.

About Me.  I have been a Record Collector for Decades.  I bought this many years ago during my travels and have kept it well-preserved in plastic sleeves and vinyl separated outside the cover.
