"Mainline To Panther"  - Sounds Of Steam Railroading  Vol 6S   The sounds of the Norfolk & Western freights running through Virginia and West Virginia.  O. Winston Link Railway Productions / LINK 6S

LP: (Graded) Near Mint Plus, according to Goldmine record grading definitions. This record grades as an LP that appears to either have been just opened or possibly handled or played once only in the most cautious manner possible. One tiny surface sleeve scuff - otherwise a virtual Mint Minus.  The plating surface and labels are pristine with as new glossiness and there are no traces of spindle "trails". The vinyl is thoroughly clean and immediately ready for the turntable. 

Play Graded at 9.8 and better on the below scale. A 10 on the scale is the complete absence of surface noise, i.e., a Compact Disc. The .2 is just a miniscule amount of surface noise in the lead in grooves, which is quickly subsumed by the audio of the steam train.  

The other aspect of the play grade is the incredible dynamics, imaging, transients and separation of the recording. The mastering, purity of the vinyl and the production of these discs rivals and in some instances - I would argue this being an example, tops even the railroad sounds in the Mobile Fidelity catalog.

Cover: (Graded) Near Mint Plus - almost no indications of shelfwear. Beautiful laminated front cover. All solid seams and fully legible spine printing. Retains original issue innersleeve and the custom inserts.  Tracklist:
