Description
An original stereo press from 1965 on the UK HMV label. Matrix 1/1. Stampers 1-G/1-R .. which indicate this pressing would have been from amongst the first 1,000 copies ever pressed. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original 'stereo' gatefold printed by Garrod & Lofthouse. Also included is the original HMV company inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) In truly superb condition and has only seen the lightest of use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. What's not to like..?>> this is a beautiful playing copy super-clean. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Think you've heard these songs before? ..think again! This pressing generates astonishing transparency...it's a corker by any measure. Interference is practically non-existent. All we could detect was a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments [literally]. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely shiny front without laminate lift or major creasing - just a couple in the top-left corner. The rear, which often lets the side down, remains in excellent condition with barely a hint of ageing. All flipbacks are secure and edge wear is very light. The spine is 100% intact. Overall rigidity is excellent.
Inner (Ex+) In great condition and has totally avoided fading. No side splits.
