Description
This is the mega rare A History Box Set which comes with 8 albums not just the 4 I've seen when this rarely comes up for sale. I bought this in the early 80's from Australia and it came with just the first 4 LP's which are titled Marc Bolan A History Vol 1 The Wizard, Vol 2 A Child of Rarn, Vol 3 In Loving Memory and Vol 4 T.Rextacy. On the back of each LP is marked as A PREHISTORIC RECORD PRODUCTION MARC 1 to MARC 4. The other four I got a bit later and are part of the box set as they are marked as A PREHISTORIC RECORD PRODUCTION MARC 5 to MARC 8. Sanctified (Marc 5), Cosmic Dancer (Marc 6), Highway Angels (Marc 7), London Boy (Marc 8) All 8 vinyl records are in excellent condition. The sleeves of Vol 1, 2 and 4 show slight signs of wear at the top of the sleeve nothing too bad though. The others are in great condition. Vol 1 to 4 Come in picture inner bag sleeve and 2 of the records are coloured vinyl The box itself has wear, light brown marks on the front and back, wear and 2 bits of white tape to the lids top and bottom right hand corners. The tape is only there to stop the edge peeling not to hold it together. The box is in a strong condition and supports the 8 LP's fine.
