T.Rex A History ~ Box Set ~ 1978 ~ overall Excellent Condition
Where to start with this fabulous collectors item!! This box set was released in 1978 in Australia. The box set contains four albums, 2 coloured vinyl and 2 black vinyl. It is beautifully put together. All the vinyl is MINT and UNPLAYED. The sleeves are in mint condition except 3 of them a very slight split at the top which was done in transit. Any marks you can see on the sleeves are on the actual pictures used for the covers as they are lifted from cuttings. Album numbers Marc 1-4
The box is in very good condition, a little discoloured along the top from sitting on a shelf for 30 years, but no tears or splits.
There is also included a small Slider tee shirt.
And... Four posters. A Giant Slider album poster measuring a whopping 60" (5 feet) x 40". Another 60" x 40" T.Rex Live in concert poster. A 30" x 20" Tyrannosaurus Rex poster and finally a 40" x 40" Face poster.
The face and Tyrannosaurus Rex posters have never been displayed so are in mint condition. The two large posters have both been displayed and whilst not torn they do have a little marking from the BluTack! But nothing major. The worst of which is 2 marks on the Slider poster on the right hand side near the bottom which you can see in the picture. Sorry about the items weighting down the corners of the posters but they wouldn't lay flat!!! But the corners are intact.
This package was released in Australia by Prehistoric Record Productions - as it is unplayed we are unsure of the quality but it is the MOST beautiful set and overall in excellent condition for 30 years old! Also included is the original photo copied sheet that accompanied the order form for this set.
The postage is heavy but it will be sent in 2 packages: A poster tube and a box and both packages will include insurance. Sorry about this, but we won't send it un-insured!
