Description
Marilyn Monroe starred in "River of No Return" with Robert Mitchum in 1954. This 78 RPM record features two songs she sang in the movie: "I'm Gonna File My Claim" and "River of No Return".
The record itself is in good condition - however, since I no longer have a record player that plays 78s I can't guarantee how it plays. But I think the photographs give a good idea of the condition and potential playability!
In the interest of full disclosure and fairness, I need to point out that the paper label on the "River of No Return" side has some damage/wear on it. Again see the photos to decide for yourself if that is a deal-breaker.
The record comes in a paper RCA sleeve that is intact with less wear than you would expect for a nearly 60-year-old sleeve.
This is a great addition to a collection of 78s, a Marilyn Monroe collection, or for someone who just enjoys the music of that era.
