Mary’s Prayer 12” Single - Danny Wilson 1988 - Lacquered Metal Master. The first of only 2 metal masters produced for the 12” version of 80’s band Danny Wilson’s final 1988 release of their hit single Mary’s Prayer.
80’s hit band Danny Wilson are auctioning a select few items from their personal collections to contribute to the significant adaptations required to the home of the band’s trombone player, Frank Rossiter, who sustained life-changing injuries in a recent accident. This is the first of only 2 metal masters produced for the 12” version of 80’s band Danny Wilson’s final 1988 release of their hit single Mary’s Prayer.
This one was lacquer coated in order to be played once for the band and sound engineer to check and approve before the other was used to produce the actual vinyl records and most likely destroyed afterwards.
It has been framed and signed by all three members of the band and comes with an identification plaque and a signed letter of authentication.
