You are bidding on the long out-of-print and quite rare LP release of the premiere recordings of works for chorus by Mauricio Kagel and Dieter Schnebel, as issued by Deutsche Grammophon Geselleschaft as part of their Avant Garde series in the early 1970s (catalog number 137 010). The works on the disc are Mauricio Kagel’s Hallelujah (1967); and Dieter Schnebel’s fur stimmen ( ...missa est) (1956-58, 1964-68). The works are performed by members of Schola Cantorum Stuttgart, unuder the direction of Clytus Gottwald. These are seminal recordings of these classic works of contemporary music. I have eleven of the first dozen albums in this series (featuring major works by Luciano Berio, John Cage, Mauricio Kagel, Gyorgy Ligeti, Witold Lutoslawski, Krzysztof Penderecki, Dieter Schnebel, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Bernd Alois Zimmermann and many others) currently available on auction, please check my other auctions for details.
