Description
McGOUGH AND McGEAR, very rare 100% U.K. ORIGINAL FIRSTPRESSING from 1968, B/Y EMI PARLOPHONE with MONO catnr. PMC 7047, stamped matrixnumbers XEX 679-1/680-1, "K/T" and "Sold in U.K....." on labels. The heavy vinyl is cleaned and completely audio checked: The record has a lots of fine surface hairlines and also a couple of deeper tiny/thin surface scratches, visual very good (vg), NO heavy deep scratches or heavy deep marks, plays with more or less a permanent slight backroundcrackeling, what is notable in the quieter passages, also a couple of slight klicks are notable, NO skips or something, it plays throughout with still fresh sound and good dynamic, so I give a still acceptable very good+ therefor (vg+, stoc). The halflaminated Garrod&Lofthouse flipback-sleeve with small splits at top&bottomseams, top left corner with little damaging, otherwise nice cover, left edge is complete and good readable, bare crinkeling, NO tapes, writings, tears or stamps, in nearly clean condition, here a very good+ for the cover (vg+,smsplt). Not the best copy but NO trash and still acceptable, so RARE, that it probably missed even in some good collections ..........., when did this turn up?
