Description
What you are bidding on is a gem of an item... Meco's Impressions of 'An American Werewolf In London'! Based on the John Landis film, this mock soundtrack album features eight tracks of familiar melodies that were featured in the film, but performed by other artists. This LP came from a radio station, and was originally used as a promotional item for a radio giveaway. Aside from the obvious cut at the top right-hand corner of the cover, this record album is in decent shape for it's age. The vinyl itself shines black as night on both sides, and looks like it was never even played. Fans of the film will instantly get the idea behind Meco's madness, as he was solely influenced by motion pictures in the late seventies and early eighties, and produced a number of similar endeavors to his credit, his most famous being John Williams' "Star Wars Theme" a la disco beat! "Werewolf" has that same funk-tified groove, with an awe-inspiring take on Elmer Bernstein's theme "The Boys" as well! This LP is a must have for soundtrack aficionados and collectors of rare and obscure disco junk! Viva Meco Monardo! Viva Casablanca Records!
