  Meet The Beatles MONO 1st Press US LP - NO BMI or ASCAP Clean condition w/nice original jacket. First US mono east coast pressing of Meet The Beatles (T 2047) with the original disc labels that do NOT have the BMI or ASCAP credits and with the original jacket. 
When Meet The Beatles was first pressed for east coast distribution back in January of 1964, the very first disc labels were prepared and issued without the proper BMI or ASCAP credits next to the song titles. This was quickly changed when Capitol received the correct music association credits from EMI in the UK. These true first pressing Meet The Beatles LP's are considered rarer than the discs with the BMI and ASCAP credits.
The original 1st pressing jacket is included (with #3 on back by RIAA logo and NO George Martin production credit). 
Disc information:  Matrix informantion is machine stamped in the dead wax. Matrix information (Side 1): T1-2047-F1 Matrix information (Side 2): T2-2047-G4 Spizer ID (Jacket): CAP 2047.MC1A Spizer ID (Disc labels): CAP 2047.MR1A Disc weight: 150 grams
Grading:  Jacket: (VG+):  Nice clean jacket with NO seam splits, NO ringwear and NO writing. The corners are all nice. There is some very light soiling (not from moisture) .
Disc (labels): (NM-/NM-): Both labels are extremely clean with NO writing, NO marks and NO stickers.
Disc (vinyl): (VG/VG): Heavyweight disc is glossy and looks like its been played. There are a good deal of light hairlines but nothing deep. No noticeable scuffs. Disc is not in any way warped. It lies completely flat.
The Capitol Records blue 1964 inner sleeve is very clean with no marks or writing.

Grading: We are conservative graders and try to be as concise and as accurate as possible without a lot of the standard hype.  Please ask us questions about any details about the item before bidding.

Shipping:
Packaging: All items are professionally packaged with high quality unused materials for shipment. No items will ever be loose in their shipping cartons. Records that are not sealed in their original shrink-wrap will never be shipped in their original jackets. All vinyl will be in poly-lined sleeves and outside of their original jackets so that no seam splitting can result from the shipping process.

Shipping charges for vinyl discs, posters and memorabilia include the cost of postage and boxes with extra padding. Good packaging is not cost effective but we insist upon safe and secure packaging. We do not want you to receive damaged items!
