Description

I'm an aging headbanger, one-time vinyl collector, and eBay newbie who has decided - regrettably - to thin out my collection.

This METALLICA "Fade to Black" EP contains a rectangular lime green promo sticker (slightly discolored and worn at top) on transparent plastic sleeve, with the words, METALLICA, "FADE TO BLACK" (LP Version), ED 5042.  It has seldom been played; in excellent condition. The thick plastic sleeve is bent in one corner. The actual EP contains a white label with band logo, record stats, and Elektra logo printed in black ink. It reads, "PROMOTIONAL COPY NOT FOR SALE" at bottom of label. Other print on label: Stereo, 33 1/3 RPM, Megaforce Records logo, ED 5042, A-side, (C) 1984 Elektra/Asylum Records, Metallica logo, FADE TO BLACK (6:56), (Hetfield, Ulrich, Burton, & Hammett), Creeping Death Music, (ASCAP), Vocal/LP Version/ST-ED-5042-A-SP, Produced by Metallica, From Elektra LP 60396 "Ride the Lightning."
