Description

Metallica Ride the Lightning LP, original Elektra pressing 1984. The cover has very slight corner and edge wear, and a small beginning of a split on the spine, VG+. Vinyl has a few lines / scuffs that can't be felt, and during playback they do not affect the sound. The LP is flat and still retains all of its original lustre. The labels are clean. Also included is the original inner lyric sleeve, which has a small split on one side and a large split on the bottom, otherwise in excellent condition. I will throw in an extra merch insert from the Megaforce issue to the winning bidder! See high-res pics for details, as they are part of the description. There are many opinions on which pressing of this all-time classic sounds the best, but I happen to think this beats the OG Megaforce hands down. It is much more alive and crisp sounding, and the instruments have great separation, and you crank the SHlT out of it! This is a very nice, solid copy of this increasingly rare record, bid hard to win, and good luck!


All of these LPs are from my personal collection, and have been meticulously taken care of, maintained in an upright position in a humidity controlled room in a non-smoking home. They have always been in resealable outer plastic sleeves with the LPs  stored in static free inner sleeves. These are not run of the mill, beaten up copies; they are well preserved, investment grade pieces.
