To give the best  "map" for this sale, we'll have 27 leading off to give somewhat of a highlight of each area of items, then onto 1) Gospel, to 2) AOR Gospel, 3) Secular AOR, into 4) the biggest part Modern Soul / Boogie / Electro / New Jack Swing / Street Soul / Indie R&B, within each of the four sections, it will tend to be chronological, earliest year listed first, with some exceptions (including multiples by same artist), meaning listed newest will be the tail end, ending earliest is the beginning (if you filter by "ending soonest", you'll get the layout!), we hope this might help :)

Media Grade:  EX (extremely faint sleeve scuff under bright light, ultra high gloss, looks and plays spectacular, like a dream front to back, peep the soundclips!) 
Sleeve Grade:  VG to VG+ (this one was tough, on one hand it's structurally solid / intact, largely what one expects of a typical decent used VG+, but on the other hand, has that small sawcut, light wrinkling, 4 very hard to make out pen dots above track one on back cover track list....it's so close to each, without neatly falling into either, that we decided to be as detailed as possible, present photos, and really explain our thinking, to be as accurate as possible!)

Brief Comments: It's long been my contention that Modern Soul / Boogie arises more from Mizell Brothers, post-Head Hunters Herbie Hancock style Jazz-Funk, far more than Disco (Disco would be the Neanderthal cousin on the evolutionary chain, which is actually no disrespect to either!), produced by Legendary Jazz-Funk artist Webster Lewis (whose 1976, and 1978 lp's on Epic are some of the first examples of a "Modern Soul / Boogie" style), Gospel is another unmentioned source for Modern Soul / Boogie (the crossover there is extreme!), Michael Wycoff began on the Keyboards / Vocals with Gospel heavies, playing on some of the best "Deep Roots" releases, all 1977, Alvin Redmond Specials, Clouds - Steamin', the grail Serenity "Like It Is" lp, also D.J. Rogers, and even contributing to Stevie Wonder's iconic masterpiece "Songs In The Key Of Life" on Pastime Paradise (Yep, the same joint Coolio flipped for "Gangsta's Paradise") on background vocals with the L.A. Watts Gospel Choir! 
This is Wycoff's 2nd solo album, his first, also on RCA from 1980 "Come To My World" is good, it shows a lot of potential, it was produced by Steve Tyrell on the label's insistence, but joining him on that, was Webster Lewis, who also recognized Wycoff's genius talent. RCA agreed to release a second album, allowing Webster Lewis to produce it (he had also worked on Thelma Houston's 1980 RCA lp, arranging, playing, so the label felt comfortable), featuring James Gadson on drums, Eddie Watkins & Nathaniel Watts on bass, legendary Al McKay on guitar (he played on Mike James Kirkland's albums! Among other things of course), jazzman Jeff Clayton on reeds, jazz-funk legend David T. Walker also on guitar, the one and only Fred Wesley, George Bohanon, Ernie Fields, even H.B. Barnum on string arrangements! 
Note the special thanks on the back cover linear notes from Michael Wycoff to Herbie Hancock! (Herbie Hancock via friend D.J. Rogers, was a huge fan of the phenomenal Wycoff, they very nearly recorded together, but Herbie by then had gone into Electro with "Rockit", meanwhile RCA had Wycoff make another lp "On The Line" 1983, underrated...his last solo record).
Something happened in 1982, earth-shattering, that pushed out a lot of 1982, 1983 soul/funk R&B albums, Michael Jackson's "Thriller" was released in November, forming a vacuum (ever wonder why so many of the male vocalist major label 1982, 1983 lp's are oddly rare? Thriller is why), RCA had been pleased with "Love Conquers All", they focused mainly on the two singles, at first, for summer radio play, hoping it would be a big fall into winter hit, but they didn't know.... So the lp quickly went OOP (out of print), by the end of the year, and like every label not called "Epic", were hoping to hit a score, to follow "Thriller", instead Wycoff, Webster Lewis, their good friends, recorded "On The Line", something unique, that RCA buried, putting down Wycoff's "Love Conquers All" as unlikely to sell even in cut-out bins, only going to a few select regions, the rest...a tax write-off, and the end of Wycoff's major label solo career, but he enjoyed a fruitful working musician career, on many Gospel, Boogie records on small or indie / private press, he passed away in 2019, too young.... in many ways, he reminds me of Jeff Floyd, these brilliant young creative geniuses, just not catching the right breaks, timing (at least Wycoff left behind a nice Discography, including albums he made contributions to, but Jeff Floyd is alive...) 
"Love Conquers All", a beautiful message, and truly a masterpiece, one of the greatest Modern Soul / Boogie records out there.... front to back, all bangers, it's impossible not to get goosebumps listening to the intro of "Looking Up To You"...
It's one you almost never see in the field, I truly recommend all 3 of his RCA lp's, but I do believe this to be just one step above, which is saying something!

*Tariffs aren't going to impact used vinyl records / music media, we wish they were never in place at all, so for international buyers, don't worry on that account!
For our record grading, we stand by the merits outlined in the scale below, anything VG or below will have a detailed explanation in brackets next to the grade.
For sleeves, we will mention anytime there is split, or defect not visible in the photos in brackets next to the grade, otherwise we refer to the photos for the merit of the grade. Of course any questions, concerns, are always welcome :) 
Our media grading scale is as follows: [*Quick note, our VPI is still in storage on the other side of the US, we do brush clean many  items carefully, but we have to prioritize, we won't leave anyone stranded with a filthy record, only "filthy" good! We don't factor dust particles into the grading]
NM = Essentially a pristine album, like new, rarely used.
EX = Under bright light if there is any scuffs or mark, which will be inaudible, most collectors and sellers would tend to consider it closer to NM, EX is also the grade others might call VG++ under the same level of conservative scrutiny.
VG+ = More then a small handful of scuffs, light marks, nothing feelable, will have high-gloss, a thoroughly enjoyable copy that may only have tiny moments of barely perceptible surface noise overpowered by the music. Our VG+ will satisfy the vast majority of collectors as a nice keeper copy, as collector's ourselves for nearly two decades, this grade is aimed to be a great keeper. Note if say the record has a light DNAP warp, but otherwise is NM, we will automatically put it to VG+ and detail that. Another scenario is if a copy plays at a solid EX, but visually is VG, the composite grade will be VG+, and detailed as such.
VG = More hairlines, more marks, maybe a few visible scratches, no more then two feelable scratches (which automatically lowers to VG-), there likely will be surface noise, but will play through, still being an enjoyable copy, the audio quality will satisfy most collector's (the golden rule: if it doesn't satisfy us, it won't be VG), if a record is otherwise EX, but has a slight momentary skip, where 99% of the record is EX, we will note that, and put it at VG. Usually will retain a nice gloss.
VG- = More Scratches than VG, surface noise will jump out more, it be overpowered for longer stretches, or compete with the music in places, it will likely play all the way through on most turntables, a copy that you can still get a decent play enjoyment from.
G+ = Lots of scratches, deeper ones, surface noise now mostly overpowers or competes with the music. It may skip in some places. We don't tend to sell G+ copies, unless the rarity is so great, and that will be precisely detailed.
Thrashed = Pretty much a "Theoretical Grade" for us, it be for all intents & purposes virtually unplayable, it would be for display purposes, or perhaps if you needed the cover but not the record. It's "theoretical" because so far we haven't sold or identified anything intended to sell at this bottom level.

We have it set to 5 day shipping / handling time, as a just in case, typically about 98.7% of our orders are shipped out the day of payment (first day the post office is open), with the vast majority being the second day. We'll message on the extraordinary off-chance if doesn't go out on Tuesday (our auctions mostly ending on Saturdays, Sundays), with the reason and day it will go out, so far that's only happened once on a giant order, and all was well.
