Description

I am in the process of de-cluttering my house and sadly it is time to dispose of several hundred classic LPs. These all date from the mid 60s to the 80s.

All my LPs will have been played at least once and some of them several times. They have however been properly looked after and stored over the years and I am only listing LPs which play to a high quality. Each LP has been played in full prior to listing so my assessment is of the whole record, not just a few samples. My assessments of the quality of the vinyl, sound reproduction and sleeve are based on the widely accepted Record Collector definitions.

This album will be sent by second class mail in the UK or airmail if abroad.  Please contact me for prices to ship outside Europe. Postage discounts are available for multiple purchases.  Following changes to how UK Post Office charges are calculated, discounts will be dependent on weight and where the LPs are to be posted to.  Please contact me for details. Please note that Royal Mail postage charges increased from 1st April 2013 and I have had to increase my charges accordingly.

The LP will be bubble wrapped and then sealed in specialist hard card packaging specifically designed for LPs.

I prefer payment by PayPal but will accept personal cheques, subject to the cheque clearing before the goods are dispatched.

This copy of the Mick Softley's 1972 LP "Any Mother Doesn't Grumble" is a UK pressing on the CBS label - catalogue number S 64841.  The album is in very good condition and all the tracks play perfectly and very clearly with only minor crackle or other surface noise. The vinyl has very few superficial surface marks, certainly nothing out of the ordinary for an LP of this age and nothing which affects the quality of playback. The sleeve is also in very good condition with just minor creasing and scuffing consistent with normal handling. The lettering on the spine is clear.

I love this LP but have never been able to find it on CD.  Can anybody help?

Tracks are:

Side One:

1.   The song that I sing

2.   Hello little flower

3.   Sing while you can

4.   The minstrel song

5.   Magdalene's song

7.   From the land of the crab
