Description
Prestige 7054, “Blue Haze” with Miles Davis, trumpet; John Lewis, piano; Charles Mingus and Horace Silver, piano; Davey Schildkraut, alto sax; Percy Heath, bass; Max Roach, Kenny Clarke, and Art Blakey, drums. Bergenfield-label vinyl plays at VG++ with a bit of faint background sound between tracks and on outer tracks; there is really not much. Heavy laminated jacket has strong seams all around and light corner wear on three corners; jacket back is basically clean with some age toning. Tracks are “When Lights Are Low”, “Tune Up”, “Miles Ahead”, “Smooch”, “Four”, “Old Devil Moon”, “Blue Haze”, “I’ll Remember April”. Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $14.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia; elsewhere inquire. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, registered mail for $11.75 extra is strongly recommended. (Last year, a package to the Netherlands was lost in shipment, resulting in disappointment on both sides.) Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be bent in transit and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window. More than two LPs will be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped.
