Description

Up for auction is Miles Davis' Porgy and Bess from 1958 with orchestra under the direction of Gil Evans. This is the original Columbia MONO issue from 1958, CL 1274, with the red, white and black "six-eye" logo and "XLP44661-2AD" etched into the dead wax on side 1, with "XLP44662-2AH" on side two. 
Sleeve: VG+/EX- with a very small section of wear on the front cover toward the bottom, and a small seam split on the top left near the spine. Overall, the cover is in great condition, with no visible ringwear, bright color, and an unmarked back cover. 
Record: side 1 - NM with no visible wear or marks, side 2 - VG+ with one light needle trail that runs through tracks 2, 3 and 4, and a tiny scratch in track 3 that pops when played.
