Description
Prestige PRLP 7076 is an ORIGINAL MONO release. Credited on the cover as the Miles Davis All Stars, led by Miles Davis, the groups
includes (side 1 - sextet); Horace Silver, JJ Johnson, Percy Heath, Lucky Thompson, & Kenny Clarke.
Side 2 (quintet) includes Davey Schildkraut, Silver, Heath & Clarke. Both sessions were recorded in 1954.

The vinyl is VG and except for a nasty bubble (see photo) would be VG++. Looking at this would suggest it would throw your
needle through the roof, but my arm played through it without jumping. I track at 1.5g. It makes a fairly loud pop for about a minute during the rotation. There are matching bubbles on both sides. They both play through without skipping.
The rest of both sides are actually quite good - nice and loud in glorious MONO from the DEEP GROOVE pressing.
The jacket is VG with some title spine wear, some ring wear visible on the front, and a sticker and some tape residue on the back.
Top and bottom spines are tight.
The label is 446 W 50th St NYC. A side run-off groove reads; PRLP-7076A - an A, an AB and a written RVG
the B side reads; PRLP-7076-B with a written RVG followed by a sideways C
The jacket reads 447 West 50th Street, New York 19, NY
