Description

“Miles Davis and the Modern Jazz Giants” (John Coltrane, Thelonius Monk, Red Garland, Milt Jackson, etc.). Prestige Records 1959 Abbey Manufacturing (# 7150 mono) in a cardboard sleeve.The “dime sized”, 21mm indentation surrounding the B side spindle indicates an Abbey Mfg pressing. The record grading is Very Good Plus (VG+) with minor surface noise. There's some audible, intermittent surface noise & crackle on Side B/track 2 and very light sparse noise on track 3. Overall, it's still very listenable. There are no scratches. The following is on the run-out grooves:


  • Side A): (etched) PRLP-7150-A (stamped) RVG C [C tilted 90°]

  • Side B): (etched) PRLP-7150-B (stamped) RVG C [C tilted 90°]


The outer case is Excellent (EX) with an extremely clean front cover with only a tiny scrape on the bottom left-hand side. The back cover has a small stain at the top left and a couple of tiny tears on the top right where it’s glued. Very minimal age wear overall. The seams & spine have no dings nor splits at all.  (all reflected in the photos). All sales final.


NOTE: This album will ship with the inner sleeve & record OUTSIDE of the cover as to prevent any possible seam damage to the cover during shipment. Both the album cover and the inner sleeve & vinyl will be contained within a plastic protective sleeve inside of the shipping box with padding on top & bottom. This item will also be insured for the full sale value at my cost.
