Description

Miles Davis “Bags Groove” (Sonny Rollins, Thelonius Monk, Horace Silver, Milt Jackson, etc.). Prestige Records 1958 2nd pressing (Bergenfield, NJ addr on label) Abbey Manufacturing “AB” (# 7109 mono) in a laminate cardboard sleeve.The “dime sized”, 21mm indentation surrounding the B side spindle also indicates an Abbey Mfg pressing. The record grading is Very Good Plus (VG+) with minor surface noise. There are no scratches. The following is on the run-out grooves:


  • Side A): (etched) PRLP-7109-A AB (stamped) RVG F [F tilted 90°]

  • Side B): (etched) PRLP-7109-B AB (stamped) RVG G [G tilted 90°]


The outer case is also Very Good Plus (VG+) with only a tiny scrape on the bottom left-hand side. The front cover has a tiny mark near the top center. The back cover has a small hand-written ink price in the upper left-hand corner; there is hardly any age wear - very clean. The top seam has 2 pin-sized dings; the bottom seam is near mint. The spine has cracks & wear on much of it. There are no splits. (all reflected in the photos). All sales final.


NOTE: This album will ship with the inner sleeve & record OUTSIDE of the cover as to prevent any possible seam damage to the cover during shipment. Both the album cover and the inner sleeve & vinyl will be contained within a plastic protective sleeve inside of the shipping box with padding on top & bottom. This item will also be insured for the full sale value at my cost.
