Description
For auction is a super rare, heavy black “smokey” Misfits – Earth A.D. true first pressing from 1983. While many assume only the fuchsia brick versions included smokey vinyl, the dark purple textured brick variants were also part of the first pressing and contained these smokey black copies—though in much more limited quantities. I’ve personally only come across a couple.
Jacket:
In really nice overall condition. No seam splits, just minor wear consistent with age. A very solid and clean copy.
Record:
Graded VG. The smokey vinyl is impressively heavy and looks incredible when held up to the light (photos don’t do it justice). There is some light wear with minor surface marks, but it plays well overall. Side A has some surface noise between tracks, though nothing major. Side B plays a bit cleaner. No skips, and the songs sounds great.
These rarely come up for sale, so here’s your chance to own an extremely hard-to-find version of this record. One of the best pieces in my collection, sad to see it go.
