Record: Misfits - Earth A.D. LP 1st pressing from 1983 on Plan 9 Records

 

Description: This is an original 1983 1st press with the 'fuchsia' colored bricks, on smokey brown/black marbled vinyl. There is currently a lot of talk about these regarding how many were pressed etc. This is not confirmed, but I suspect that after pressing the 'colored' Earth A.D.s, the plates were not cleaned, and black vinyl was pressed shortly after. As seen with other records, when this happens there is usually a mixture between the two colors. If you need more pics, let me know!

Condition: Sleeve: VG (conservative, see pics. Normal wear around edges and a 1.666 inch seem split on top of sleeve), Vinyl:  VG++ (listened all the way though on a Ortofon 2M Red cartridge, and it sounded great)
