I use the GOLDMINE RECORD COLLECTORS GUIDE Standards for grading each Album. I do not sell anything that in my opinion would qualify for a grade below VG as it is not worth the time it takes to research, create this ad, list, package, and ship.

Mint (M) Absolutely perfect in every way. I never use this grade even if the album is still sealed.

Near Mint (NM or M-) Record shows no obvious signs of wear. Sleeve should have no more than the most minor defects, such as almost invisible ring wear or other signs of slight handling. Cover should have no creases, folds, seam splits or other noticeable similar defects. No cut-out holes, either. And of course, the same should be true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves and the like.

(VG+) A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are "OK".

Very Good (VG) Surface noise may be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.

Records are very carefully packaged in heavy cardboard for protection. Refunds will not be given due to damage during shipping. If you would like to purchase shipping insurance for your item, please contact me before paying and I will send you an invoice with the additional cost. US shipping insurance will be included FREE on all purchases over $100.

Correction about the record pressing:  The record is a 1st Pressing!  It is just a later of the first 10000 Pressings.

Pressing:
1st: Plan 9: PL9/02 (December 12, 1983)
10,000 black vinyl copies. The earliest copies have mis-colored (dark grey instead of black) hair on the center ghoul's head due to a bad printing job. The vinyl is thick and opaque. Matrix etching is PL-902-A (or PL-902-B for side B) MASTERDISK EDP S9, S10, or S11 and front background is light purple. The rest of the black vinyl copies are available in three combinations. There is a light purple front cover background version with PL-902-A (or PL-902-B) MASTERDISK EDP etchings on very thin, but opaque vinyl. The dark purple front cover background version on medium thickness, opaque vinyl has the same etching (PL-902-A MASTERDISK EDP). There are also light purple front cover background copies on thin, translucent vinyl with PL-902-A MASTERDISK EDP SM3 in the side A matrix, and PL-902-B MASTERDISK EDP M2 on side B.
