Description
On February 2, 2006, as an incredibly ambitious promotion for the impending release of Mission of Burma's third album The Obliterati, Matador Records announced an incredible 8 X 12" / single subscription series, entitled "There's A Time And Place To Punctuate" after a line in the Peter Prescott song "Period," which appears as the seventh single in the collection. The blank sides of the 12" singles each contained unique etchings by Obey/Giant mastermind Shepard Fairey (oh how that boy loves to get arrested!).
This subscription series sold out in a matter of hours, making 500 fans incredibly excited. GOT THAT? 500 ONLY! WAY GONE, OUT-OF-PRINT, FOREVER.
