Description
Here is a piece of blues history - the true first Yazoo release, before they were called Yazoo. It's from 1968 and their label was then called "Belzona", but with the same peacock, black and gold deep groove labels. The title is Mississippi Blues, 1927-1941. L-1001. Side 1 of the vinyl is near mint, side 2 is very good minus with two quick pops on track 4 and two quick pops on track 5. The jacket is very good with light wear at bottom corner and bottom right extremity. Former owner, bluesologist Michael Taft, stamped his name lightly at top of back cover and there are light blue numbers written in small handwriting to the right of each title on the back cover. The Belzona address on back is 390 East 8th Street.
