Description
Delta Blues Lover’s Dream. 2 LP combo on the great Yazoo label. Famous for their amazing blues,compilations dating back to the 1920. Most of which were only available previously on 78 rpm. Both titles are in Near Mint Condition. Some heavy hitters on these compilations. Skip James, Mississippi John Hurt, Son House, Charley / Charlie Patton & even 1 track from the immortal Robert Johnson.
Both records come in Mofi inner sleeves & thick / clear 5 mil audiophile outer sleeves
Mississippi Moaners Yazoo L 1009 1968 - Original Black & Gold labels. Please forgive mirror image of me holding phone taking listing photos. Labels & records are extremely glossy / shiny. Hard to get decent clarity even in low light with flash. At any rate LP looks Unplayed. No visible marks. Mint. Cover has original price sticker & piece of shrink missing top left front / smaller section rear right. Still easy Near Mint.
Mississippi Blues 1927-1941 L 1001 1967 - OG Black & Gold labels. Same disclaimer on mirror image in photos. Record is easy Near Mint. Took multiple views to find a few wispy sleeve marks from original paper sleeve I presume. Cover in shrink Near Mint. I bought 40-50 original Yazoo albums from vendor at The Pocono Blues Festival circa some time in the mid 1990’s. Remember it was a big chunk of the summer job money I was supposed to save for College expenses. Most were sealed or in shrink / already delicately opened. Can’t say when or if I spun these. I certainly replaced the original paper sleeves with Mofi.
